A Step Ahead Childcare

​We are a newly established daycare in Ardrossan Alberta. Our rural location give us unique opportunities to include nature as a big part of our programming. (We use the environment as the child's third teacher.)
We provide a safe and nurturing environment for children between the ages of 12 months to 12 years. Our regular hours of operation are from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
We Provide...
* Morning Snack, Lunch & and Afternoon Snack
Our menu is based on the new Canadian Food Guide and varies monthly
* Out of School Care (OSC), Before and After School care as well as Professional Development (PD) days and Holidays
* Kinder Care, for the days your child is not in school. PD Days and Holidays are more limited. We take children in the Ardrossan Schools.
* Preschool; 3 years old (Tues/Thurs) and 4 years old (Mon/Weds/Fri)

We use the childcare management software platform Lillio to engage with our families.
We have partnered with kids Included to continue staff education and ensure an inclusive Centre for all our children and their families.
Staff are training to follow the ASaP Pyramid Model under Kids Included, a framework for promoting young children's healthy social and emotional development.
